I.S.
Indomitable Spirit
You were crushed
Indomitable Spirit
You were hushed
And in that silent second
You seeped, surged, flopped and soared
What next, indomitable Spirit?
Indomitable Spirit
You were crushed
Indomitable Spirit
You were hushed
And in that silent second
You seeped, surged, flopped and soared
What next, indomitable Spirit?

Lilies, anyone?
I think indomitable is like inflammable. It doesn’t sound like what it is. And maybe that is what makes the “crush”ing so compelling.
There is nice rhythm in the first four, it would be clever to rephrase the finish and preserve the rhythm. But there is more than four.
