Alright MattWricks,
I tried too hard to make something of this, and I think that is my problem. I just have to appreciate your adjective-noun coupling and take it in that way. What hits me is a gum-packet of mini-paradoxes. It kicks in for me at “bizarre awakening underwhelming renewal, holiness obscene” which, I think, is a three-pack of brilliant dissonators. You would think that when you awake, you are free from the nightmare, or that when you dive into repentence, you would be free from attachment, or that when you are declared pure, no one would turn their head in disgust–but maybe not. . .

thank you for rambling… because you got it at the end. innocence is presumed attractive to all.
