A Glowing Veneer

Gliding through the vapors hovering about the earth
Cresting on sight of the curve
I breathe in silently
Like a shark in the water
Choosing my path and changing my mind with a bend and a twist
I knock at your front door
It is you I choose
I smile and wait for your answer
Ready to glide off again
At the slightest hesitation

  1. Ha. I guess this is the closest I get to a love poem, and it’s very self-centered. I like the the paradox of having so much time, yet being so impatient.

  2. There is good juxtaposition. First date, last date. I dig
the animal twitch, especially since I just did that in Ugly
    Animal
    .
